They definitely know how to party. Having a random group adopted us for the Please Be Patient With Me I’m From The 1900s Vintage T-Shirt but in fact I love this weekend made our experience more memorable and we were grateful for it. They were the coolest group we’ve ever met. We’d booked a small boat snorkel trip out of Key Largo. Crossing the bridge, these big black clouds rolled in and soon it was pelting rain. You can’t turn around on a bridge, so we kept crawling forward. We thought at least we could drive to the dive shop and they’d probably refund us. Because it’s Florida, the rain had lightened to a “I don’t know what you’re talking about” gentle fall. The boat guy was on the phone taking all the cancellations. Then came the luck—we could still go out, but we’d be the only ones. The sky was clearing out towards the horizon. We went.
