At least pick a movie I don’t want to miss. If you think I care about emo schizo batman and edgy serial killer riddler and raceswapped catwoman, you are mistaken. Sweet, I really only enjoy shitty movies, so I’m going to offer to pay only $2 to watch unpopular movies at AMC. I have an LG OLED tv with a great surround sound system. Explain to me again why need to be the Playing Soccer Watercolor Flag Shirt Apart from…,I will love this first to see a movie. The theaters can no longer off a better cinematic experience in my opinion. I have a wife and a kid (and only one). I’m not paying $90 to take my family to see a movie when I can watch it for free 6 months later. Or maybe I pay $6.99 This is how you respawn movie piracy. Not that it ever went away, but it was abundant in the mid 2000’s compared to a niche hobby nowadays, usually to fight against streaming services. So we saved this company when dickheads we’re trying to short it into oblivion and they turn around and demand more money for already overpriced services. I am pretty much done with moving theatres anyways, but can’t see how this helps bring in people who are on the fence but might have gone to see this. As if I needed one more reason to wait for movies to come to Redbox or non-premium streaming. $10 and I can have candy, drinks, and snacks for the entire family, I can pause and come back without holding my piss because I don’t want to miss anything, when there’s the scene of ‘what just happened?!’ I can rewind and watch again, and I can turn subtitles on if I can’t understand what they’re saying.
