Ramsey’s financial advice to getting yourself out of debt is top notch. Everything else this man does is disgusting. Yesterday I was in a doctor’s office, and the Playing Guitar Luke Kelly Poster Shirt and I love this news was on in the waiting room. So for the first time in ages I had to listen to TV commercials (on top of “news”). All I could think was “this has to be a scam.” I guess you wouldn’t fall for a scam to get out of a timeshare if you weren’t susceptible to falling for scams. It’s just wild that you can just make up a company and scam people on TV. Here is the thing about Dave Ramsey and other “financial celebrities” like Robert Kiyosaki (the “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” guy). If they were actually financially comfortable and wealthy as they claim they wouldn’t need to peddle media merchandise. Kiyosaki preaches “passive income” and then spends his life working on his media empire. Ramsey spends his life telling people to avoid debt and be financially conservative and then he defrauds them out of millions. A lot of people here to just bash Ramsey. Youre missing a very imporant point: Time Shares are a scam and you cannot ever leave them. It’s a very profitable industry and they are smashing anyone who dare call them out for being a scam. I used to listen to a lot of radio talk shows at a certain times due to working out of my vehicle years ago. Listened to his show. Never really liked him and his advice. I was more of a Clark Howard fan (his radio talk show). Not exactly the same type of show, but Ramsay always rubbed me the wrong way. His go to advice was to get a job delivering pizzas in a rich neighborhood.

Dave Ramsey is a huge piece of shit. Always has been. And according to that Bible he swears by, there’s not a snowball’s chance in Hell that he will get into the Playing Guitar Luke Kelly Poster Shirt and I love this gracious afterlife that he goes on about. These Evangelical money grabbers can be holier than thou all they want, I know it’s the assholes looking down their noses. Man goes on about his $300 million paid for building all the while forgetting that his favorite religious book tells him that the love of money is the root of all evil. If Dave cares so much about his listeners maybe he should send his workers remote and throw that 300 million to building affordable housing. After all, home ownership is the cornerstone to his advice. This guy’s cousin is a very popular and successful editorial cartoonist in my home state (and very nice guy) and for the life of me I don’t get how they share genes.
