I used to wear black cuz I thought cool kids wore that in elementary school and now I’m a femboy. No further explanation. I change my style almost every day, I go from grunge to work casual, to leisurewear to some other style, but I have noticed I’ve dropped some clothing items throughout the Pizza papa john’s tom and jerry shirt moreover I love this years… One day I stopped liking crop tops, shorts and jeans after ages of wearing them, just because I didn’t feel like wearing them anymore… I started wearing leggings, trousers and skirts more. I guess I just aged out of a few things and into others. I think my general mentality about fashion has remained the same: I like things that are in-style, but I always need to add my own twist to it because I hate being basic or owning that thing that everyone owns. Like I like tote bags, but I would never buy the Marc Jacobs one because it just seems like every other person owns one now. And I’ve always loved dressing semi-formal or “pretty”. Skirts, dresses, jewelry, the works. For a while I second guessed it because I work in a lab lol so I thought maybe I should dress down more; but the more I’ve thought about it the more I’m just like who cares? I’m gonna dress the way I’m gonna dress and it shouldn’t bother anyone lol.

I guess a change that I’ve made is trying to buy better fabrics and avoid fast fashion: obviously I’m not at the Pizza papa john’s tom and jerry shirt moreover I love this point in my life where I can afford to buy solely from higher end stores but I’ve made an active effort towards buying 100% cotton, cashmere, wool etc. Wearing comfortable, natural fiber clothing is now my go to choice when I can. Less for style and more for utility. I think this just makes me old, lol When we shifted from skinny jeans to high rise baggy jeans, I had a wardrobe crisis. And my 30s body isn’t the same as my 20s body. And I was done sacrificing comfort for fashion. Stopped buying clothes, saved that money up to buy a color analysis and style analysis with a style consultant. Now I’m slowly building my new wardrobe based on what I learned.
