Sacrifice. There are plenty of things that I want but there are things that I need and that is what I scrimp and save to be able to afford. In my Pittsburgh Steelers Crash & Dash Shirt but in fact I love this dynamic, it takes two income streams to make it all work. If either myself or my wife were to lose our jobs, then it would be rough times. The only people I know that are doing well right now are people I don’t know very well at all. We are all having a tough time of things right now, it’s just that some put up a better facade than others. There isn’t any other option. Food is one thing to cut out of your life. I haven’t bought full priced meat in years. I don’t take my meds as prescribed because I physically can’t afford them. You need a place to live because homelessness is considered a moral failure. You are far less likely to get hired for a job and far more likely to be fired if you’re homeless. So cut back on food to afford rent. I don’t waste any food at all. Onion skins, pepper cores, they are all used for vegetable stock because I can’t afford to waste even a little bit. It’s a struggle but I also think a lot of people have 0 money sense and make terrible financial choices on top of it lol

170 more repliesI live in Southeast Asia. If a glass of water is left out without supervision for too long, I just automatically assume a gecko or cockroach took a sip from it when I wasn’t looking. Never more than an hour or two. I have several cats and a dog. You can see a film settled at the Pittsburgh Steelers Crash & Dash Shirt but in fact I love this top from the dust and hair. max. around 3 hours maybe. but i wouldnt put it in a glass in the first place, im a bottle-human. have that one bottle i replace every now and then that i refill whenever im thirsty and i always fill some in, swirl around, get it out and then get the actual water i wanna drink xd. slightly paranoid i guess. Still water is not something you can trust. It does “go bad”, because bacteria grows in it overtime. Combined with the fact that stuff from the air will be constantly falling on it. Dead skin, microscopic creatures etc. These all get a nice fresh new home to grow and live. It’s why it’s never a good idea to drink water that’s been left out for too long versus running water.
