I have kidney issues and have had ulcers. When I need pain meds, I have to choose which organ to roll the Phillie Phanatic head Philadelphia Phillies shirt and I love this dice on. If I take too much ibuprofen it triggers my acid reflux making me need to take another medication for 2-3 months. Because sometimes I’d rather feel the pain to know what’s wrong, how long it’s been hurting, if it’s getting worse so I know when to seek medical attention. Just because you’re not feeling it doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt and you might injures yourself more without knowing. Also bc some stuff can be hard on your liver. Haha, I like that you’re being downvoted. My endocrinologist said after a few tests that I have hypermetabolism, which would explain why pain meds never worked on me growing up (I thought it was mostly a placebo), and even things like edibles and two post-motorcycle crash fentanyl shots didn’t make me high or relieve any pain It’s interesting because almost everybody in my family has this resistance. None of us have ever been tested for a condition but I’m tempted to see if there’s something more going on.

I had a surgery a few years ago and I remember thinking “should this hurt this much?” for days later because pain meds just…weren’t doing anything lol I woke up during a surgery once, had a morphine drip that did nothing more than take the Phillie Phanatic head Philadelphia Phillies shirt and I love this edge off another time, and had the max allowable for dental work that was a big help, but didn’t numb completely. Just, all kinds of fun! I agree that ibuprofen and Tylenol seem like nothing to me like 90% of the time. When people talk about it working really well I just don’t get it
