Because the founding fathers didn’t consider it had to be addressed. As it was part of common law rights and impossible to enforce when privacy is respected. He reminds me a lot of Eric Cartman from South Park when he is hall monitor. “Respect my authority”. A large part of the population hasn’t and won’t get the vaccine. He did a good job of making it available to everyone, but he doesn’t respect our freedoms to make our own decisions. He is trying to force us into submission. Get the jab or you can’t work. Get the jab or your kids can’t go to work. Get the jab or hospitals won’t admit you. He could be stockpiling ventilators, he could ramp up production of the monoclonal antibodies. He could set up programs for people who test positive and have to isolate, bringing them food and necessities. He could have schools put more focus and effort into physical education. He could make everyone coming into the country take a Covid test. He could give tuition breaks for nursing and respiratory therapy to build up the work force. Subside hospitals so they can hire more staff. Give grants to schools to update ventilation systems. Encourage companies to let their work force work from home if they are able. Provide funding to public and private businesses to update communal surfaces to copper. Like door knobs hand rails counter tops etc. copper is know to not allow bacteria and viruses to survive on it’s surface. Offer free vitamins. There literally are so many other steps he could be taking. But because some people won’t listen to him, he has to force us into compliance. That is a terrible leader. He is like the platoon sergeant who is lost and keeps leading his platoon in circles because he knows he is right. We are going down a long and dark path as a nation and someone needs to turn us back in the right direction.
