“Hey gang. So I committed some light immigration fraud but can you blame me?? I was poor and they offered money! Now that I have a bunch of money, my associates in this actual crime want to extort me for money! Can you believe it?? How do I escape this criminal nightmare I willingly put myself into?!” Not even that, it’s just the Pew Pew Madafakas Black Cat Gun shirt and I love this legally expected result of divorce of a non-fraudulent marriage. Maybe not alimony/cs that high, but still this is entirely in the boundary of the law Yeah I don’t know how they do the division of property there, but we know that whatever he’s got now he earned after the marriage, so that points to her being entitled to a good chunk of it. There’s a lot of information missing about whether he’s supported her at all, but he’s put himself in a position where the more he argues that she never lived as his wife, the less defense he has against fraud charges.

Pew Pew Madafakas Black Cat Gun shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Yeah this is fun next-level extortion where they’re doing everything completely above board and legally but in such a way where you can’t complain about it without implicating yourself in the Pew Pew Madafakas Black Cat Gun shirt and I love this fraud (that is assumedly unprovable) I’m seeing several different answers. One government website says yes, you can be stripped of citizenship that is gained fraudulently. Multiple news articles also came up about people being stripped of citizenship gained fraudulently. But the official marriage fraud page just says that you might be deported, but the “stories from victims” page says that there’s a $100,000 fine and up to five years’ imprisonment (unclear if this is for the immigrant or the sponsor), but also that the sponsor, even if a victim of fraud, is still financially responsible for the immigrant for three years. The thing is, the citizenship wasn’t obtained fraudulently, the permanent resident status was. I guess since the citizenship is related to the PR status when it was obtained, a fraudulent mariage to get PR probably means the citizenship was obtained fraudulently too, but it could explain why it isn’t clear.
