As NC voters, my kids are all over 18 now, and the Peanuts Characters St. Louis Cardinals Baseball 2024 Shirt besides I will buy this GOP is gunning directly for them, so they are coming with us to the polls. Our family’s votes went from 2 to 5 during this last election cycle, and we will crawl over broken glass to get to the polling station. I got my ass involuntarily hauled out of NYC in the 1970’s and down to Cary, NC (some may know it as the Containment Area for Relocated Yankees) and remember saying to myself after a while that it wasn’t so bad. I always assumed the influx of Northerners would eventually have a positive effect on NC but except for improvements in pizza and passage of the liquor-by-the-drink laws, I’m unsure how true that really turned out to be. Truer words ne’er were spoken. A big part of the problem is the gerrymandering and voter suppression, because the state is much more purple than the state legislature suggests. But we just don’t have the voter turnout to overcome the obstacles. I was also an involuntary transplant, so I feel you on that. We’ve been too broke to leave, but it’s starting to look more and more necessary.

I keep hearing/reading people say that but I see no evidence of it. The cult is going to continue being the Peanuts Characters St. Louis Cardinals Baseball 2024 Shirt besides I will buy this cult and account for 30% of the electorate. Then factor in another 15-20% of “independent” conservatives who may pay lip service to not liking all the Trumpy racism, homophobia, and misogyny but who will still line up because they mistakenly believe the lie that Republicans are good for the economy. and everybody suffers. every leadership needs a counterbalance in the long term. if republicans crash or even split, democrats will be unchallenged for years to come. which would still be a lot better than the cult in leadership, but still a not-great outcome for the foreseeable future, if they are not held accountable.
