No system is perfect but this map perfectly explains why small states would have no way to have political input. Without the Peanut Jeff Dunham you look like I need a drink beer St.Patrick’s day Irish shirt besides I will buy this EC a politician would just campaign in our three largest metropolitan population clusters and ignore everyone else. The rural areas of California. How many of those CA Trump voters had their voice heard? 100% of electoral votes went to Biden Which is why the electoral college matters. Fuck a couple of states deciding whose in office. And that goes for any state and any party. The fact that California only gets one senator and all those other hillbilly states get one too just goes to show Government is no longer for the people It shows the opposite in fact since the electoral college allows smaller states to have a voice and have their concerns actually listened too Which is why the popular vote is a joke when electing high office. Anyone that says it would be popular vote doesn’t get it. California is so underrepresented in our system it’s obscene. They have a population 110% the size of Canada, and get the same seats as Wyoming or Delaware. Only Senate, House is population based. California has 53 congressional members in the House, while Delaware and Wyoming has 1 each.
