As a 3rd party with nothing riding on this series, I expected DoPS to screw up and I’m still shocked… I mean, this could be even worse if a Blues player decides to take retaliation into his own hands. While I hope that doesn’t happen because you’re bound to start converting on the power plays, it seems a possible scenario.

I’m sure Berube will be hammering it into their heads that winning is the Patriotic Rottweiler shirt in other words I will buy this best revenge, but if the Wild get a solid lead I could definitely see things getting really ugly. I’m not sure how much convincing chief needs to do. I am a firm believer we don’t win the cup if the hand pass doesn’t happen. Our boys are unstoppable when they’re pissed. The hand pass was a lot different than the team captain trying to injure your player. I’m not sure what happens tomorrow night, but it’s not gonna be pretty A team can do both — if the forecheckers start dumping pucks into Spurgeon’s corner a little more frequently, and start chasing a little bit harder… Agreed. Although, past Blues teams I could maybe see it happening. But with how yall have developed into a skilled team, and your guy wasn’t hurt on the play, it might just be some checking with a little extra thrown in. At least that’s what I’m hoping for. The best I can see happening is a mitts off, sweater grabbing “fight” where they spin in a circle, punches get thrown (and mostly miss), and choice words are yelled. Gets the teams riled up, feels somewhat like “payback”, and no one gets actually injured. Worst case? Targeted cross checking, boarding, and other bs throughout the game. Someone will get injured and someone else likely suspended. Same. I’m all for answering the bell and dropping the mitts and squaring off, but I don’t think Spurgeon has ever actually been in a fight.
