I take pride that im not the Patrick Roy Canadian professional ice hockey coach Colorado Retro T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this best at anything, but im decent at many different things. My mother has a masters in chemistry, absolutely has no idea about the physical world. I had an argument with her that a suit case was not going to fit in the car bc its obviously too big for that spot. She just yells “how do i know?!” And then proceeds to try and make it fit. She went “oh”. There’s many different skills in this world and there’s always someone good and bad at it. Some more frustrating than others. Could you have a high IQ coupled with a learning disability or ADHD? Maybe the problem on your end wasn’t smarts but focus. And maybe you’ve outgrown the learning disability. My wife is incredibly intelligent. In my experience, it’s simply because she’s thinking it through. She already knows the outcome, she’s just working through the best approach. It’s not a matter of incompetence. One of the things I’ve learned about people as I’ve aged is: If someone appears to suck at something, it’s much more likely that they’re simply uninterested in and/or unmotivated to conquer the task, than that they’re stupid, slow or incapable.

Not enough to deal with all the Patrick Roy Canadian professional ice hockey coach Colorado Retro T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this bullshit that comes with doing it well, at least. I mean Jesus, have you ever met a doctor? I have several friends that are MD’s – They’re miserable in their careers, to the last. And the older I get, the more I understand it and see it in myself. The concept of “potential’ that we’re taught early on in life is, it turns out, a fantasy. There is no innate potential, which means the measures we use to quantify it – like IQ or academic prowess – are just about fucking worthless. There is only what is. And what is is pretty much always going to be what we want to do. Or it should be, ideally.
