Having mild OCD helps because if I don’t do some sort of exercise I feel like something is not right with my day. If you are not cursed with that just think about the Patrick Mahomes American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs T-Shirt but in fact I love this positive health benefits you get from exercise. It‘s one of the best things you can do for your health. Also there are things that will work better – I couldnt enjoy exercise for most of my life, until I found taekwondo and that immediately clicked with me and I geniuniely enjoy going there. Drove to exercise through rain and storm by bike cause I was looking forwards to it more than despising the weather^^ All of the people in great shape aren’t people with insane discipline, whatever that even means, it’s just people who like working out more than they like not-working out. Even edge cases like David Goggins, he likes proving himself with extreme feats of endurance more than he liked eating boxes of donuts on the way home from work. When you like working out, you’re often excited to get to go to the gym. Or you’re hyped for a run, or a bike ride or whatever.

The game is to find the Patrick Mahomes American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs T-Shirt but in fact I love this exercise you like. It’s only time consuming when you hate it, if you like it you’re not wasting time you’re spending it. Also, what are you trying to do? just workout once. Ignore all the advice from experienced lifters or whatever. Go for one lifting session, or one run or whatever. Then next week go again. When you start seeing progress from that, you’ll just naturally want to go more often. you dont need to start with a full routine of multiple sessions a week, or jogging every morning or whatever. It’s not that everyone who work out does it because they just love working out. Sure for some people, yes, but really you just have to look at it like a necessity. If I want to be healthy, I have to work out and nobody is going to lift the weight for me so I just have to do it. I was just in a place away from home for about a month. I didn’t have regular cell access and watching TV got boring. I got in a workout routine which has continued since I got home. Admittedly it was not fun in the beginning, and even today I struggle for motivation until I get out there and start working out. So for me it’s not about drive, but routine and accountability
