I bought the Patrick Baldwin Jr American professional basketball player T-Shirt In addition,I will do this XM3 and one of the earcups stopped working after 6 months. I later bought the linkbuds and they started playing static from time to time. Never again. Not the audio products anyway. the moisture is probably because of your sweat and humidity, and the WH-1000XM5 is no IP rated, thus not covered under warranty. Either way, look for an IP rated headphone/earphone next time. India’s climate probably warrants it for all electronics tbh. Hope things get resolved, op. I was gonna get xm5s a while ago but ended up buying qc45s instead because of the reviews. They’re perfect (except in the wind) Thats strange. Here in germany they give 2 years warranty and i just got my full refund when after 23 months i raised battery issue to them in xm4. Come claim time, they straight up said that this won’t be covered even though their website states it does……but not the insurance policy itself. Completely misled me into buying it, ngl it’s my mistake too, I should have read the policy properly and not just relied on their words and website but I was quite shocked that what they state about the plan was completely off from what the policy is itself. My sony tws was instantly replaced by Sony service and my experience was pretty good. Might be city or the particular service, maybe try another service center. Newer and smaller brands like soundcore and Sennheiser(def not new) Are much better Also you shouldn’t have bought Sony it is pretty much trash at the price

Hey OP, the Patrick Baldwin Jr American professional basketball player T-Shirt In addition,I will do this ear cushions having this much moisture that it starts dripping when squeezed is weird. I have been daily driving my XM5s for over 4.5 months now and haven’t faced any issue till now. It’s totally possible that there might be a different factor causing all of this. I am absolutely loving how good these sound and feel, but feel a bit bummed after seeing someone’s bad experience. However, please try with different service centers and do update how it went. Hope you are able to find a solution! I faced the same issue with my 1000XM3 earphones. They quoted 17k for repair. I’d bought it for 20k. Yeah they suck. In India, if you want to get response from companies, go to LinkedIn or twitter and put a post with the company mentioned. They wil reply in hours. If they don’t resolve in few days, reply to it again. The only thing these companies are scared in India is public image. And LinkedIn and twitter will bring this to limelight as people are putting the posts which others can see Oh definitely. Sony service is full of issues. They hardly have any spares available. If the product is even slightly older they advise you to replace the whole product. its well documented on reddit with lots of report of people having issues with 1000mx4/5 headphones. i personally had to replace hinge swivel of my 1000mx4
