My professional life is doing research on responding to climate change. I find that the Parapro Crew Reindeer Santa Hat Christmas Lights T-Shirt besides I will buy this only way to handle the frankly depressing state of the world is to focus on what I can do to prevent things from getting worse. For me, this means using my abilities, talents, knowledge etc to be a better person and do good work, and support those who are putting themselves in the front line in trying to drive real action. I often find the maxim “optimism of the will, pessimism of the intellect” helpful. Regarding your thought about being especially bothered about overseas aid when people in your home country are struggling: this is not a zero sum game! Its your government’s choice not to provide a social safety net at home, but instead give huge subsidies to private business and spend eye-watering amounts on the military. That’s what’s depressing, not the idea of sending a meagre amount of money to poor countries.

Big trouble is coming down the Parapro Crew Reindeer Santa Hat Christmas Lights T-Shirt besides I will buy this line in the form of massive forced migrations from climate change. How can anyone or any country expect to be safe & well unless their neighbours are safe and well? Defence spending will just make things worse. Food and water scarcity and climate impacts will turn (are turning) the world on its head. Get your head out of your arse and get involved in campaigning to address this properly! Just think about how in a few years the system will collapse. That doesn’t help you but your children will live at the right time. History doesn’t follow a straight path. There are periods of stagnation and periods of change. Nobody likes those. But without them, there truly would be no hope. It gets worse before it gets better. You are currently seeing a massive strengthening in unions in the US. It is slow going the majority seems to get more willing to tax the rich for social projects.
