This gives me Outer Wilds vibes. Imagine if this is the Pantera Barbed Vintage Shirt Besides,I will do this sound you heard when pointing the signalscope at a black hole. Imagine floating in space on the edge of a solar system and where the sun should be is instead a dot of moaning blackness that destroys everything. All you can hear is the hungry wailings of a dead sun. The screams of the destruction of the oldest matter in the universe, maybe civilizations from the dawn of time or a comets that have been through entire galaxies being ripped apart to the eerie sounds of a symphony. Chilling. What if we’re listening to the sound of another universe coming from inside of the black hole and there’s people on the other end listening to us Can we just ask Hans Zimmer to come up with a soundtrack for black holes? Just like he did with the Andromeda Galaxy picture. I would have preferred to sleep tonight, not knowing that this horrible sound existed. “In this new sonification of Perseus, the sound waves astronomers previously identified were extracted and made audible for the first time…The signals were then resynthesized into the range of human hearing by scaling them upward by 57 and 58 octaves above their true pitch. Another way to put this is that they are being heard 144 quadrillion and 288 quadrillion times higher than their original frequency.” Not to be a downer, but if the pitch heard here is so unimaginably higher than the original frequency, Ivan we really consider what we’re hearing to be a meaningful representation of the original? Damn, sounds exactly as I imagined it, something pulling in matter so fast it generates sound through the medium of light.

Pantera Barbed Vintage Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I imagine if a black hole had air or an atmosphere to have sound go through… it would just sound like whitenoise with a heavy storm sound.
