That’s illegal. You cannot make race a mandatory criteria in filling any vacancy. Why would you deny anyone a position because they’re “the Pandas pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder streptoccocus T-Shirt moreover I will buy this wrong race.” Cause for all the shit I give reddit for being a leftist bastion of mediocrity, one thing is always had was a relatively open policy on saying things. If you change that, you might as well just say “no more free speech, guys. If we don’t like you, bye.” ah yes we are not racist i promise you, look at our app icon and look at our newly hired black person that we totally didn’t hire just because he was black You gave mods unlimited bans and unlimited deletes. You simultaneously said the subreddit deserved special considerations of free speech because it represented a political cause.

I don’t know why I have to explain the Pandas pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder streptoccocus T-Shirt moreover I will buy this inherent contradiction because it’s plainly obvious. You can’t give a subreddit special consideration for free speech because its political while also allowing the mods in that subreddit to freely stifle free speech without limit. That subreddit would never have gone so far to shit if a wide range of voices could have participated. But when you ban and ban and ban until it’s just one homogenous voice…the result is predictable. How can you fix at least part of this? If it’s deemed to be a political subreddit for god’s sake disable the ban feature for mods. Or, limit it very much so they can only use it in the most extreme cases, subject to admin review. So reddit will continue to die while the same facist power moderators run riot and the platform will remain heavily censored and politically bias ie nontion of the Chinese connection will be allowed. Shame what reddit had become.
