Check your dehumidifier with a wattmeter plug. Normally multiple hundred watts for hours on end. Depending on your electric traffic running the Oscar Piastri the eras tour shirt in other words I will buy this boiler and turning the radiators down where not needed will be much much cheaper than a dehumidifier at multiple tens of pounds (to hundreds of pounds if running 24/7) per month. That’s just not true at all. A condensing dehumidifier will use ~150-200w while a desiccant dehumidifier will run at ~500w. Meaning a condensing unit will cost around £1 – £1.50 for a full 24 hours of use and a desiccant will cost less than £3.50. And that’s for a full 24h use. Most dehumidifiers now have a humidistat on them, so they won’t run anywhere near that long. Both of those are considerably cheaper than running the central heating, plus drier air will heat up quicker than humid air, resulting in heating costs being lower. Yup, have a Meaco DD8L Zambezi desiccant plugged into a watt meter, running all the time with a target at 50%rh.

Ah ok my math may have been a little off. I think the Oscar Piastri the eras tour shirt in other words I will buy this point is still worth motion. If someone thinks their heating is too expensive then they should consider that a dehumidifier may be £30-60 per month extra. I keep the house at 23c and manage to use about £60 in gas so turning on a dehumidifier got me a pricier bill versus Tumble dryer, or just dry day washing line. Cheers all! HG mould spray, available on Amazon and B&Q etc, it’s the only thing that works in my bathroom, wear a mask as it’s very strong, I use safety glasses too. I’ve used it on the ceiling, grout and tiles, should be fine for walls, but make sure you have spare paint in case, if using on wallpaper maybe test it on a patch out of sight. You have to figure out why the specific room or whole house is high humidity, causing condensation and then mould.
