But I completely agree with the Osa Odighizuwa American football defensive tackle for Dallas Cowboys T-Shirt and by the same token and lack of growth point. If you’re not seeing any natural engagement after weeks or months, change something. Anything. Trial and error. See what the audience likes/doesn’t like. As a final point, I think some people genuinely just enjoy recording what they want and that’s fine. It’s when people want growth on YouTube when the ‘just do what you enjoy and record whatever you want!’ doesn’t work. I don’t really mean this post towards people that make videos and don’t care what views they get, but I keep seeing people that complain here about not getting views, but then telling others to just keep going… The amount of horrible advice on here makes me really wonder if doing the opposite of what people say here would make for better advice lol.

Yeah I’m on board. I like coming in here and leaving advice sometimes because it’s a bit of a loop in here with small creators with little success giving other small creators advice and it just spirals. Since I’ve had some success I like to help out where I can. But the Osa Odighizuwa American football defensive tackle for Dallas Cowboys T-Shirt and by the same token and reality is it takes TIME and serious effort to see what works, what doesn’t, do research, and find an audience. But I’ve had multiple people in here strongly disagree with my take that hard work and time pays off if you spend it the right way. Can you get super lucky and blow up with little effort? Yep. You can. And I think people have that “goal” in mind. But some people think that’s the ONLY way to get big. Not even close to the truth. You’re spot on. You have to be able to evaluate what’s working and what’s not working. It comes down to really knowing your target audience. I’ve learned how to create things by talking to my ideal viewer. A conversation with them does wonders. It’s something that people should do regularly.
