Not yet, but very close (hopefully an offer early next week fingers crossed)! Tbh I’ve been enjoying unemployment so much (so many books read and yay now the Original tom Holland Is Chainsaw Man Shirt in other words I will buy this weather is nice!) I almost don’t want a new job but….the whole “the longer you’re unemployed the harder it is to find new work” Is why I’ve just been aggressive. I’ve been getting a ton of interviews though and while they haven’t resulted in a job yet they also weren’t good fits tbh. Beggars can’t be choosers but I’m just looking at this in a positive light..getting rejected from a job bc I just stink at technical interviews isn’t a bad thing. I get experience in tech interviews and honestly, the position wasn’t something I was too hyped for or even qualified for to begin with.

Submitted over 300 applications between 6/2022 and 1/2023 with regular updates and changes to my resume to tailor to the Original tom Holland Is Chainsaw Man Shirt in other words I will buy this jobs I was applying for. Had several people audit it and applied their feedback. Then mid January (new hire budgets took effect) a recruiter finds my Indeed profile, thinks I’d be a good fit for a couple roles, we start with the higher paying one, 3 Zoom interviews and 2 in person interviews later, I get an offer at the max comp package, started 2/6. It’s 10k less with a thinner benefits package than I had before, but that’s also going from Nashville TN to Lafayette LA and I have a lot more opportunity for learning and growth here than I did before. It’s a vastly different culture as well, prestigious law firm vs tech startup, so that’s been a huge culture curve but I’m managing.
