Consider Bridesmaids, if you will; the Original Shit Show Supervisor T Shirt and I love this over-the-top moments, like that one food-poisoning scene, were what stood out, but it was the subtler moments of kinship between Wiig’s Annie and her best friend Lillian (Maya Rudolph) that made the friendship between the two feel relatable enough to earn the gut-busting laughs. (Think of the scenes where the two attempt to steal workout classes by copying an instructor’s moves in the park or impersonate penises over coffee.)

Original Shit Show Supervisor T Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

In Barb and Star, it feels like Wiig and Mumolo have finally earned the Original Shit Show Supervisor T Shirt and I love this right to center a whole movie around what makes them laugh, rather than critics or studio execs or any other traditional gatekeeper of power—and in doing so, they’ve captured themselves at their funniest.
