Should have booked it next to each other instead of being a sneaky couple hoping to get more space, you sleep as you make your bed. Everybody wins. The only bad guy here is the airline who keeps putting these fucking layouts like this. Most people fly in ones or twos, and nobody wants the middle, so you usually get an entire playing booked up and down this way. Opposite happened to me yesterday. Old guy and woman were talking and flirting from the window and aisle seat, I was going to sit in the middle but I asked either to switch, both said no, so I sat down, they talked across my face for a few minutes, then both took out their phones and didn’t say another word. Absolutely bizarre If it inconveniences you so much to not be able to swap places, it might be worth to spend the extra money to be able to pick your seat. Being clever and hoping you end up with the whole row because you got the aisle and window has its risks. I applaud whoever declined to play your game. Plus, maybe your girlfriend was cute.
