There was no real challenge he had to face that allowed for a satisfying conclusion of his arc – he lost because of the Once An Eagle Always An Eagle Fairview School T-Shirt and I love this actions of Shiv and Rome, then he looks sad and the show ends. The moment he was most like Logan was ironically the moment that caused his downfall. I do think it was quite the feat of storycraft that they made us feel bad for people who literally made billions of dollars from not getting what they wanted. Kendall now gets to live for the first time since he was 7. Imagine carrying that weight and self expectation from that age. God bless Colin. Anyone else think Tom played Shiv beautifully by telling her it was him? Feel like he told her that giving her that opportunity to do right by him and maybe give their marriage a chance?

So I thought I’d sleep on the Once An Eagle Always An Eagle Fairview School T-Shirt and I love this ending, but it still doesn’t feel right to me. I knew that Tom being CEO was going to be one of the options, but the ending felt fine, but not very satisfying. I think the better ending would have been Kendall gets what he wants but has to screw over his siblings to get it. So Kendall gets what he wants but had to destroy every relationship around him to get it. I thought the ending would have been better if it was more about Kendall having to destroy his humanity to win and become like his father, a man he despised. It was a fine episode, but with all the siblings losing and Tom winning I’m not sure what exactly the point of the entire show was. “he was hard on women” she internalized / accepted Logan’s misogyny bc she knew they would never accept her, no matter how much she tried and schemed. she regressed into the wife, the flawed mother her mom implied she’d be. a self fulfilling prophecy I think Roman is actually happy to be rid of the company and all the BS. He can now just goof off and do whatever tf he wants with his billions Wait, if Iverson is not Kendall’s kid, does that mean that Logan crossed out Kendall’s name from the will after he found out? And then did he write in Greg’s name since he thought none of his other kids would have children at that point so he thought Greg might be the only one to carry on the bloodline??? Ended the way it started. With Kendall being unable to close with the votes he needed, only this time Shiv was the one who changed her vote instead of Roman. Shiv played such a political move, but truly it was her nature that came out. When the crucial moment arrived, she was completely disgusted with the idea of her not having the crown. I don’t even think she thought of Tom at the moment. She’d rather completely lose it than watch her brother have it. It all makes sense. What an incredible ending to an amazing show.
