What does On Wisconsin mean?

“On Wisconsin” is the official fight song of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It serves as a rallying cry for students, alumni, and fans, symbolizing deep school pride and athletic tradition. Singing along at games is a core part of the experience for anyone associated with the university.

Is this an official University of Wisconsin product?

No, this is not officially licensed merchandise. It is a fan-made tribute item that uses public-domain style graphics and slogans to celebrate the team. While it captures the essence of UW Madison fan gear, it is produced independently rather than through the university’s licensing program.

When was On Wisconsin first performed?

The song debuted in 1913 during a football game against Minnesota. Since then, it has become a staple of UW athletic events, heard at every major game for over a century. This history makes the phrase a powerful marker of time-honored tradition for Badgers supporters.

Is this hoodie good for Wisconsin gameday weather?

Yes, the fleece material offers sufficient warmth for outdoor fall football games and chilly winter gatherings. Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable, so having a reliable hoodie ensures you stay comfortable whether you are tailgating in October or attending a holiday event in December.
