Nope! Do what makes YOU feel comfortable. If you want to wear something then do it! Im in the same vote with the moobs (220 male) not to mention i have a huge surgical scar across my stomach (emergency exploratory surgery as a teenager) i always felt the world was judging me. I ended up going out more and more and now i dont even think about it. There is a reason why you always see old men running around naked in the change rooms. You do something enough times and you will find you wont care. But again do what makes you feel comfortable just dont be afraid to go outside your comfort zone i promise it gets better! My husband is also self conscious about showing his belly. So I bought him a swim shirt. Yes, they make swim shirts for men. They even make them in plus sizes. Not at all. Less skin exposure to the sun, less hassle putting on sunblock all over your body… as a guy I do it too. Got a great rashguard. That’s the way to go imo. if your doing it to hide your moobs… well I think your trapped between worrying what they think of your moobs and what they think of your shirt. Who cares?! Maybe they are protecting themselves from sun. Maybe they feel uncomfortable about their weight. Maybe they have psoriasis. It just doesn’t matter! Not everyone has to be the same. If anyone feels the need to judge you, that’s their problem. Do what is right for you as long as there’s posted no rule against it.

If it’s literally a swimming pool, because I’ve known a few people who have to take care of pools, if it’s a cotton shirt I’d think “oh no, the Ole Miss Rebels Playoff 2023 Peach Bowl Champions Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this owner isn’t going to like that” because the absorbency can mess with the filters and chlorine levels and stuff. I don’t judge them, but I personally hate the feeling of wet tshirt on wet skin, makes me skin crawl. So in that sense, I don’t understand how people can deal with it haha. But, no, I don’t judge them. Australian here. Have you ever been burnt by the full brunt of the Australian sun? I’ve had 3rd degree burns from it. Wearing a rash shirt, often a full length one is absolutely the default here. If you don’t have one but want to protect yourself or are self conscious, wear a T shirt – nobody would even notice. I’ve seen swim shirts on people for a few reasons. My friend didn’t want to eff up his fresh tattoos with sun damage, another friend is avoiding skin cancer, another friend is shy.
