WOW!!! If this is true. This blows the Ole Mintz National Champion king shirt moreover I love this lid off the anti abortionist arguments. And should be used against Alito’s argument! The Founders and the society they occupied were far from perfect: but they did manage to exercise a modicum of common sense even then. Guys! Florida has it all right in banning all those math textbooks! But it isn’t because of anything they may have included about CRT, but what they didn’t contain about ABORTION! Benjamin Franklin, one of the authors of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, included a recipe for abortion in his publication of the American Instructor, a textbook for arithmetic. You can’t get any more “deeply rooted in this nation’s history and tradition” than the publications of a FOUNDING FATHER! /s Republicans have proven time and time again they don’t give a damn about the forefathers, the constitution or anything. Republicans abandon principle when it’s inconvenient. Hell, if they had a teenage daughter that got pregnant, guess who’s going on a trip across state lines to get an abortion?

It not irrelevant because Alito based his draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade on what the Ole Mintz National Champion king shirt moreover I love this Founding Fathers thought. This destroys his argument. This week’s Wednesday drop of On the Media is about the abortion underground in the US and its origins. OTM is a fucking national treasure. If you aren’t listening to it you should be. That’s fascinating but I don’t know why we would be taking moral cues from the Founding Fathers in today’s society. Most of them were also fine with treating Black people and women as property. Does that mean Thomas and Barrett should be barred from political office since we’re going by historical precedent? The point is that they’re claiming the pro-life stance is our country’s tradition. Which is crap, since abortion was legal and unregulated until the 1870s. The pro-choice stance is much closer to our country’s traditions.
