Veterans care or miscarriage had a long and storied history in this nation stretching back before we even had the Oklahoma Sooners Big 12 Softball Tournament Champions 2024 shirt Furthermore, I will do this constitution. Congress has a long and a storied history of screwing over veterans to make rich people richer. Somehow a generation raised on HFCS in everything are more obese than ever. We’ll never figure out why this is and why congress and states haven’t passed laws taxing these products to reduce their consumption isn’t passed. My nephew just left the Marines and people being out of shape is overblown. The military gets people into shape *very* quick. I think the issue is that the military has a bad reputation (mostly from movies). People also think that military = getting killed in battle when the reality is 80% of the jobs that will never come close to a battlefield.

Now, as for infantry? No, I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone. The training is hellish, especially in the Oklahoma Sooners Big 12 Softball Tournament Champions 2024 shirt Furthermore, I will do this Marines, even if someone never sees combat. You can get in shape when you’re in but most of the times if you fail to meet PT and physical standards you won’t even get through the door and onto a bus. They can give you some time to lose the weight but often times people still fail to meet the standard even with that. What you see inside the military is survivorship bias not what the average American teenager is physically which is statically obese. There are such loose standards in every service around this, they even have pre-bootcamps they send the extra big ones too. Just curious what movies you think contributed to their bad reputations? I’m a GenX dude pushing 50 and definitely when I was a kid I would agree with that (with the 80s movies reflecting on Vietnam) but are there recent movies like that? (again, I’m old and out of touch. When I think of war movies with a message I think of full metal jacket or platoon or casualties of war)
