I cannot even begin to imagine how furious people will be Instead, officials reached out to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office. Armed with a search warrant, detectives drove more than 500 miles across Northern California in search of the goat. There’s a growing number of people calling for the firing of the county fair director, Melanie Silva, the one who demanded that Cedar the goat be confiscated and slaughtered.
