The twelve-year-old suburban kid black metal voice constantly spewing a catchphrase just adds nothing to any situation for me when he pops up in shows and as a reference, there is no way I’d play an entire game about him unless I got to hunt him and genocide him through the Ohio State Buckeyes Logo Santa Hat This Is My Christmas Pajama Shirt in contrast I will get this multiverse or something like that where I could shoot him in the brain before he can say anything. I was playing assassin’s Creed 2 (the Xbox 360 version) just yesterday. There’s more detail in that game than this new gollum catastrophe. It’s good that people are starting to not treat the Jackson artstyle as gospel or “the definitive look” of LOTR, because it’s not. When I first saw this I thought it was Spot from The Good Dinosaur. Like maybe he found a whole orchard of rotten apples and got addicted and couldn’t get out.

The image on the Ohio State Buckeyes Logo Santa Hat This Is My Christmas Pajama Shirt in contrast I will get this right is missing proper lighting. The design is different, and that’s not an issue on its own, the issue is it looks completely flat because there’s no self-shadowing or details like oily skin. It looks like something you would see on a preview before rendering the scene with lightning. I feel like if you removed the hair, you’d have no idea where light was coming from. And you could run SoM with any budget graphics card while Gollum you need at least a RTX to just barely run praying for no stutters. How did they fuck this up so badly? This should have been the easiest game to make. I thought it was a dumb idea from the beginning because who wants to play AS Gollum. What’s the appeal? But ok even if there is a demographic, an indie company could have made this game and probably made a hit out of it. How did they fuck this so badly? Another clear fkn example of why you shouldn’t pre buy games. They take your money and release shite. Stop pre buying ffs
