I’ve been on the Official noah Gragson Number 42 Wendy’S The Baconator Shirt in other words I will buy this company side saying this and I fully advise any individual to use the exact same approach a the company would. You dont need the “Your” twice. You can go with “Failure to plan on your part doesn’t constitute an emergency on my part,” or “Your failure to plan doesn’t constitute an emergency on my part.” The former version is better since both parts of the sentence are constructed the same way. I’m not writing an essay I treat this like a casual conversation or comment. Not like I’m sending this to my English teacher Also, if you did decide to quit the company would move on without you. If they can afford to have you quit they can afford to have you go on vacation. I would laugh, and say “haha, great joke!” If they try to say you can’t go. Every time. “Haha, that’s hilarious!“, haha, you should be a comedian!”, “haha, see you in a couple of weeks!” I had an old boss when I was in sales come up to me one time. It was my last day before me taking the last week of that month off “You rascal! If I hadn’t planned and requested this a year ago, and already spent a lot of money on it, I might have thought you were being serious.” You don’t ask for vacation. Your vacation was approved in advanced. He has been notified that you won’t be there. The rest is his problem

If you have documented proof of their receipt, acknowledgment, and acceptance of your time off request then you should send that proof to them. Keep records for yourself too. They made this agreement and you need to hold them accountable Sounds like you’re a great employee to the Official noah Gragson Number 42 Wendy’S The Baconator Shirt in other words I will buy this point you are a slight pushover and the boss is exploiting his great employees. Take your vacation and if your boss treats you poorly after quiet quit. All these employers are playing around now they’re gunna find out. I have informed plenty of jobs that when I put in a request for a day off it’s not a request. I will not be working that day. Never had pushback. Most employers understand work life balance and if they don’t, get a new job. Yeah requesting time off is a courtesy you provide well in advance, 2 weeks is common, (which in most cases “needs approval”) and most people comply and when their request is approved they can assume it’ll be honored, so they can plan to do with that time whatever their heart desires. If the project was so important they should’ve known way ahead of time and denied the initial request and you could’ve changed your dates… again way ahead of time with little to no issues. Trying to pull the plug on approved time off last minute is disrespectful and unprofessional.
