I think it’s cute, although the Official god Said “Let There Be Light” Then He Created Electricians To Work On It T Shirt but in fact I love this queens humor is carrying the laughs. Some of the judges I’m not vibing with (though Neil and Bianca are fun as always). I was going to say David went to Le Cordon Bleu and has a book about entertaining, but then he came out as “Sue Chef” and I thought “fuck it.” Yeah, anyone going in to this thinking this is a legit dinner party competition is going to be disappointed. This is really a comedy and creativity showcase of the contestants, and it is glorious and extreme camp. It’s just fun, and it’s nice that they haven’t mentioned Drag Race at all (although I’m not that far). I’m halfway in & enjoying it a lot so far, but I’m not digging how Haneefah isn’t physically there for all the episodes…? I loved her chemistry with everyone in the first two episodes and want to see more of her actually interacting with the judging team – not her face badly photoshopped onto inanimate objects.

I haven’t watched it yet, but literally for all ten episodes, it says, “This is the Official god Said “Let There Be Light” Then He Created Electricians To Work On It T Shirt but in fact I love this best episode by far!” in the description. I’ve watched about 5 episodes. I would say it’s cute show. For me, some things work and some don’t. The positives – Murray Hill is a really charming host, the queens are great and entertaining, the lighting is good – everyone looks beautiful. Also, loved seeing Heklina and she was really funny in her episode. Things I’m not enjoying as much, the humor of judges feels kind of forced, and there is too much scripted “comedy” from the judges. I think if it was more like Nailed it and the judges were watching the queens and commenting it would be better than these little skits they do. I’m enjoying it and I’ll continuing watching. It’s great to have another tv show with drag at the center of it!
