I don’t care how cute they are. My baby only gets to come in my bedroom the Official all About That Joey Votto Cincinnati Base T-Shirt also I will do this night before I do laundry. I don’t want her climbing all over my bed, tracking her hair and kitty litter paws over the surfaces that I press my face up against for hours at a time. OP, I’m not sure if this works with a four-month-old kitten, but I know that with adult cats, Jackson Galaxy ( the “Cat Daddy”) recommends wearing kitty out with play before bedtime. Like, whatever his favorite toy is have him chase it until he’s too pooped to do anything but go to sleep. Best of luck! we put the cat out of the bedroom at bedtime. she will inevitably disrupt our sleep. we wake up to her cries at 8 AM and feed and scratch her. then she has a full day of playing and anything she wants! it’s okay to respect your own sleep time. Both my cats go to their room when it’s time for lights out….they will start knocking shit off the bedside tables at 3am, and my fiancé and I are really light sleepers. I hope this doesn’t make me an asshole. One of my cats is so in tune with my bedtime routine he starts meowing incessantly to be put to bed when he knows it’s time….because he gets a treat! Any cat I’ve had even growing up got shut in a separate room overnight….didn’t realize it wasn’t normal.

I have two kittens they’re now about 9 months old from the Official all About That Joey Votto Cincinnati Base T-Shirt also I will do this same litter. They do the same thing occasionally, and they get locked out when they do. As they’ve gotten older their midnight zoomies have gotten less crazy, and I can actually sleep now. They still have zoomies, but I think they’re learning that they don’t get to stay in the room if they have midnight zoomies. I still feel so guilty to this day and spend my morning cuddling him extra and spending time with him, but I live with bad chronic illness so I need to be able to sleep if I can and my cat is ruthless in the night, bouncing off the walls, biting my legs, sitting on my actual face, the usual lol. So I had to start using a different room as his cat room he gets to hang out in at night. Still feel so bad but he’s gotten used to it and has all the goodies a kitty needs. Still can’t get over the feeling but my sleep has improved (besides worrying about him in the middle of the night) but yeah i don’t know if the guilt will ever leave haha but I just nap with him when I do and spend extra time in the mornings if he isn’t with me at night. also planning to get him a buddy asap so he isn’t alone and my heart can rest
