As a terminal cancer patient with a Rx for fentanyl, I can attest that it is quite effective. It doesn’t deliver a high per se, at least on its own, but if I have to take one of my opioids for break through pain, I have to be careful. The fentanyl multiplies the Of Course I Talk Myself Sometimes Need Expert Advice Dragon shirt But I will love this effects of the opioid. It’s important to keep a close eye on it and have narcan on hand. The biggest warning and check in I have to face is ensuring that I am not abusing it. (Fentanyl has been so effective that I’ve only had 2 break through incidents since I’ve been on the patch). But at least with the prescription stuff, I’ve never felt high at all. Anyways that’s my 2¢. My friends and I did ALOT of drugs in the 90s…we all agree if fentenal had been a thing back then..none of us would be alive today…not because we would willing seek it out…it’s just being found in all the drugs we did do…meth coke pills pot..no heroin though

Okay that is naive of me to say it’s not being found in weed, because I should’ve of said not being found where I live. I can’t comment for anywhere else. But I will say I live in a place with an overwhelming rampage of fent deaths, but I think it helps that weed is legal, so for the Of Course I Talk Myself Sometimes Need Expert Advice Dragon shirt But I will love this most part no one has any reason to get it from an unsafe supply. That’s one of the reasons why legalizing drugs can be a net positive. Why go to a dealer if you can walk into a store and buy a product with consistent potency that you know isn’t contaminated and zero chance of being arrested? Yeah, it’d be better if didn’t do things like meth or heroin but so far we haven’t found a way to make that happen so… To be completely honest, most of the fentanyl in weed stuff is pure fearmongering, but when you criminalize something as harmless as weed the risk of cross contamination will always exist. If you’re that worried, federally legal hemp products (including THCa flower) have existed since 2018, are legal in most places in the US, and do the job the same way. Your news anchor is lying, there have been no confirmed cases, besides, apart from cross contamination no one is putting fent in your weed lmao.
