I had a similar thing thing happen to me on a tiny scale a few years back. My local grocery store had a diaper club where you could earn a $20 cash voucher after spending a certain amount on diapers. My shoppers club account was glitched and they printed a voucher every single time I had any transaction. I got years of free diapers. Back in the Obey _ They Live Shirt and I will buy this late 90s, in middle school, we figured out that we didn’t have to put money in the machine that could dispense hot chocolate. A simple punch would make it dispense. Checkmate. My hb did find out too when he was young that after midnight the balance was not changing. He did a few times withdrawals, but the bank realised the issue and they corrected his balance. It was like 25 yrs ago I wonder what goes through the mind of such an individual. “Hey I have access to funds I shouldn’t have access to…. What the hell. Smile now, cry later. Let’s go HAM!!!”… What do they think will happen? The bank won’t notice and they’ll never have to pay it back? I really want to see a study on the psychology of such an event.

Wow, I skimmed through the Obey _ They Live Shirt and I will buy this article.. .but seriously.So he becomes an accidental millionaire through his banks atm glitch. Lives large for awhile, turns himself in at the end and doesn’t have horrible consequences.Sounds like a plot to an 80s movie. he should have never turned himself in. should have just held on to the money until he was caught – if he was caught Before my great grandmother passed when me and my grandfather would go visit her in the old folks home we would always use the vending macine on the way out because for whatever reason the vending machine would always spit two cans out whenever you got one. Years ago there was a reddit post about a guy who found himself on the favorable end of a bank error. He put it in guaranteed return investments like a CD or something. He kept rolling it over until the bank caught on and asked for the money back like 3 years later. He agreed to give them back the principle but kept the accrued interest.
