Some interesting thoughts. Many I strongly disagree with, but some in line with my own thinking. You might be interested in reading the Gospel of Thomas. A number of the ideas here seem to be reflected in that, and Not By My Strength But His Zechariah 4:6 Flower shirt may have actually been a more accurate representation of Jesus’s ministry than the canonical gospels (depends on which dating arguments you care to believe about the gospel). I’ve read the gospel of Thomas it and during the reading, I’ve actually witnessed the image of Christ being burned into my wall.

I was exhausted from studying religion day and night for years and the gospel of Thomas was actually the last thing I’ve read as far as Religious studies. Not By My Strength But His Zechariah 4:6 Flower shirt was a sign I didn’t need to study religion anymore. From that day in I became spiritual. Somewhere I read that I would receive a sign and I turned my head and saw it happen. Jesus was holding a cross. But I don’t take it to mean I should become a Christian. That day I meditated for the first time and I had a spiritual awakening.

Interesting experience. How do you differentiate reading this like Cayce from studying religion? And how do you approach finding answers? Yeah, I’ve been re-reading Thomas every few days and keep getting interesting bits or realizations. The latest was that #5 & #6 could well be self-referential talking about “nothing buried shall remain unearthed.” I find the Edgar Cayce approach best. God is simply the creative force in and through all creation and somewhere within us, we have the ability to become one with Not By My Strength But His Zechariah 4:6 Flower shirt and find our relationship with the source.
