In my experience, smoking a little weed is like drinking a beer or two, taking an edible is like knocking back three shots of tequila and eating the Not lucky simply blesses romans bartender symbol st patrick’s day shirt besides I will buy this worm. I have seen more “accidents” than normal trips with edibles – they’re difficult to dose – effect also depends on what and how much you have eaten before … My gf at the time once fell backwards from a stool, unconscious … It used to also be because making edibles is kind of a pain. You couldn’t just ask your dealer for gummy bears or brownies. Different metabolic pathway to get high. Some people have liver enzymes that break down the thc so they never can get high via edibles. Also most edibles are oil infusions and some people just don’t wanna eat their calories like that. (I do like a thc seltzer once in a while. There was a brand that did a pomegranate flavored one which is yummy.) Personally, I switched from smoking to gummies and I feel so much better. I didn’t realize how much I was coughing! I don’t mind the longer high, it just means I have to plan for it and can’t do it every day. That’s a good thing, for me. I’ve taken 1000 mg before and it had no effect. I’m one of the weird ones edibles don’t work on. I fully agree tho. If they did work I think I’d still smoke but only on occasion. Edibles are a way healthier way to get your fix. The ride on edibles last HOURS and I just can’t take not being able to get off the ride for so long. Smoking is like 45 minutes to an hour which is enough for me.

Entertainment is explicitly where people choose to take mental or physical risks. People smoke not because they think that somehow that is the healthy choice, but because it is the FUN choice. The only exceptions with that drug are the millions of legitimate medical users who are taking it in a specific way for a specific purpose. In that case edibles may not be the right choice for their pain or infirmity. Back before legal marijuana if I had an edible I was toasted all day, so I’d smoke so it wasn’t a whole day affair. Now I completely agree, a 10mg edible is perfect I have one after dinner I’m functionally stoned in 30 min. I haven’t smoked my weed in two years. Edibles are the way for me. OK so the low down…is really very simple but most people just do not even really know what is going on. Weed plants produce many different chemicals that when combined “get you high” Most of the chemicals are in the crystals on the flower that looks like powder but are found in deferent amounts in the whole plant. The chemical that is best knows THC really is not THC but THCa and only becomes THC over long periods of time or but adding heat.
