I never recovered from the North Pole Correctional Disturbing The Peace Lights Family Christmas T-Shirt and I will buy this Great Recession. I graduated college in 2009 and my life has been hell ever since. FUCK EVERYONE who told me all my life I needed a degree to get a good job! NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY informed me that employers would scoff at that shit and write me off for whatever tf reason they want like I’m “overqualified” which is the most bullshit thing I’ve ever heard in my life! Apparently I’m overqualified to earn a decent wage but NOT overqualified to work a low-payin ass job that doesn’t require ANY education whatsoever. Doesn’t help having significant gaps in employment due to the extreme difficulty I’ve experienced in the past decade and a half. It’s a preposterously vicious cycle of bullshit, and it’s ABSURD that in the age of mass communication that we have to jump through so many arbitrary ass hoops just to get some damn bread!

Tbh, I think this shit is intentional. They want people desperate so that jobseekers either take pennies on the North Pole Correctional Disturbing The Peace Lights Family Christmas T-Shirt and I will buy this dollar and/or commit crimes to get tricked up and feed the prison industrial complex. No wonder the USA ranks 129th out of 163 countries on the Global Peace Index. Our society is toxic af!!!!!! I saw an add here in So Cal for USPS paying I think 18.75 an hour… that is not a lot, I know people working retail making 25 cents less. My guess is the benefits are better and the “job security” makes up for it, but I also hear how new hires are taken to task and are really put to work to see if they can “make it” I work for Canada post. To begin with, it’s lousy. Really freaking lousy. You get called when you’re needed. I sat for 1.5 months before getting a shift when I started. Then it was tons of work for 2 months and then faded away again. Luckily enough I transferred to a nearby small town (15 minute drive) and got regular work again immediately. I was signed on as a permanent worker and my own route in about 14 months from start, which is very very quick.
