About 10 minutes before the Nolan Ryan Texas Fame Tex American former professional baseball pitcher T-Shirt it is in the first place but doors opened to the general public I made my way back to the entry and started touring the museum from the beginning. By the time I got back to the Sistine Chapel, it was a crowded, noisy and chaotic place. Most people exit at that point, but there’s a modern wing to the Vatican Museum too, and after paying so much for entry I didn’t want to miss anything, so I went downstairs instead of out. There I found a wing virtually free of tourists with works by Picasso, Munch, Matisse and others. Went to Yosemite met a guy who let me and my friend stay at his camp site for free. You normally need reservations months in advance but me and my friend were doing this trip very last minute. The guy was super cool and became a good friend. Gave us food and everything Traveled to Dubai to visit a friend. Tried the gold coffee in Burj Al Arab, one of the managers gave us 4 free croissants. Also on the same trip, we went to Abu Dhabi and visited Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental. Again, we were having coffee, and this manager comes up to us to give us a free chocolate cake. My friend and I were so surprised, we felt so lucky for the kindness of the staff who gave us free food!

In Sicily in my early 20s. I randomly started talking (in my bad Italian) with a big group of kids my age. Got in a car with them, we drove to a music festival on the Nolan Ryan Texas Fame Tex American former professional baseball pitcher T-Shirt it is in the first place but outskirts of town, had an amazing time hanging out, a couple of them dropped me off at my hostel at the end of the night. Turns out it was a communist rally. One of my favorite travel memories. I know getting on a car with strangers is generally not smart but they were such a sweet group of hippie kids and I never felt unsafe. In 2017, my grandpop took the whole family on a cruise because he promised he would. A few years prior, he was in a horrible accident while on a bus on the way to a cruise ship (he used to run trips for their seniors club) and he needed to be airlifted to a trauma hospital from the scene. He was like 86 at the time and it looked grim the the would make it, but he did. There was a lawsuit due to driver negligence, and he eventually got a nice settlement, so he promised he would take the family somewhere. Well he did, and at first everyone was a little hesitant about if we would all have fun on a Canada/New England cruise, but we did and it was amazing. Many memories from this trip will stick with us all forever, and I’m so grateful for getting to have this experience. Pop was such a big personality and such a major force in all of our lives.

In 2020, my bf and I were supposed to leave for a trip to Dubai that lovely week in March when the Nolan Ryan Texas Fame Tex American former professional baseball pitcher T-Shirt it is in the first place but world shutdown. Obviously, we had to reschedule the trip and we were able to push it back to September. September 2020 ended up being one of the worst times, because that amazing force that was my grandpop died suddenly due to an infection that turned septic faster than his body could fight. However, we were scheduled to leave a few days after all of the services and everything were over. We were able to take this trip and experience such an incredible time. I was worried about being too sad and in shock, but honestly being so far away and getting to enjoy this vacation was exactly what was needed at that time.

Went to Iceland this recent January, somehow we ended up going to the Nolan Ryan Texas Fame Tex American former professional baseball pitcher T-Shirt it is in the first place but Blue Lagoon the one week it was open before and after 2 volcano eruptions Stumbled across a pigeon market taking place in a gap in the Theodosian walls in Istanbul that only takes place like one Sunday per month or something like that. Was a neat find. I had to get a flight from Belgrade to London, with a connection in Copenhagen. Unfortunately, the plane departed Belgrade 2 hours late, and that meant the 2 hour conmection time given at Copenhagen evaporated. Once we reached Copenhagen, we found out that the connecting flight ALSO had a delay of 2 hours. So me and some others who were also making the connection were not stranded in Denmark overnight. I was on my way from Hamburg to Krakow, and everything that could go wrong did. No flights, and the trains were out because Deutsche Bahn was on strike. My only shot was hitching a ride to Berlin on BlaBlaCar, then catching a Flixbus to Poland. But luck wasn’t on our side—the driver missed an exit, and we ended up losing 40 minutes. By the time we hit Berlin around 23:30, I had less than half an hour to catch my bus. The driver was sure I’d miss it.

With no other buses until 3 a.m., I braced myself for a long, cold night at the Nolan Ryan Texas Fame Tex American former professional baseball pitcher T-Shirt In addition,I will do this station. But then, the driver, instead of just dropping me off, invited me over to her place to wait out the time. It was totally unexpected. She made me feel at home, cooked for me, and we ended up dancing to music from my country, which I shared with her. It was such a warm, genuine gesture from a stranger, particularly a lady staying alone to invite a guy that she had just met. Looking back, I’m really grateful for that night, and I created a Spotify playlist just for her, I think of her sometimes. We were in Siatista Greece tracing my roots. My great grandfather was an iconographer in some of the Unesco cathedrals in the Peloponese and someone in my genealogy group said that the last name dated back to iconographers in the area during the 16th century and reasonable to assume they were my people since those trades got passed down. Anyway we get to town, we don’t know where to go, but need to use a bathroom so we go the the open school and I ask about the churches. And the man says why do you want to see them? So I told him our story and he makes a call and says “Go up to the big church on the hill. So we do. The man in the big church says the one church is closed right now but open for liturgy at 2pm. The other church is being worked on because of earthquake damage but here is the key. Have a look and bring it back when you finish. So we walked to the church and got a little lost so I asked an elderly fellow in a car. He says its very close, I will take you there and anyone who doesn’t fit in the car can just follow behind. So we get there and it’s a tiny little church filled with frescoes behind some scaffolding but you can still see everything. It was special and amazing. But then, when we walked out the gentleman waited for us and said, if you have time I’d love to offer some wine. Turns out he is one of the few winemakers who make list, a sweet wine made of dried grapes, and so we learned about that as well. It was the most magical day that you simply couldn’t plan.
Bumped into the Nolan Ryan Texas Fame Tex American former professional baseball pitcher T-Shirt In addition,I will do this prince and princess of Liechtenstein in Rome. They had given a guest lecture at my university a few months prior so I recognized them and had a chat. Thailand: bus from Bangkok to Changmai, me and one other passenger, plus a driver and a stewardess. 3 guys with guns drawn drove up next to us and tried to drive us off the road. Luckily, the bus driver didn’t lose his cool and maneuvered the bus safely while the stewardess was on the phone with the police. Eventually the guys lost interest and drove off towards another tourist bus. I had my passport and wallet zipped in a pocket and I was ready to spring straight into the jungle and not look back. All this was around 1am. Only having it rain one day while I was in London in 2010. It was sunny and in the 70s all but one day when I went (May), and from what I remember hearing it was very unusual weather. I had gone to England in July before and I had a jacket on outside some days and I remember it being cloudy or rainy just about every day. We got a 12 person air boat tour to ourselves once, and so me and my spouse got a personal tour of the guide’s favorite places, and I got to bring beer with me. The boat was able to glide to places a full boat could not go, and we even did a drift-like race course. We actually snuck up on the guide’s favorite alligator where he hangs out. The whole thing was epic.
Way back in the Nolan Ryan Texas Fame Tex American former professional baseball pitcher T-Shirt In addition,I will do this early 90’s (1994?) I was working a booth at PC Expo at the Javits Center in New York. For whatever reason, Intel was sponsoring a chess tournament at the same venue and either the PC Expo badge was good for the chess tournament, or anyone could go in. Don’t recall. Anyway, completely out of the blue I got to watch matches played by world-class talent like Judit Polgar, Garry Kasparov, Viswanathan Anand, Vassily Ivanchuk, Vladimir Kramnik (I think he won the whole thing). Everyone in the audience had headphones on to hear the commentary, so it was silent for the players. It was really well-done and a fantastic, completely unexpected experience when I was just there for booth duty.
