I don’t know. I remember having to be in my chair with a cold bowl of soup in front of me with my parents yelling at me for half the Nolan Arenado Signature American professional baseball third baseman St. Louis Scream T-Shirt Also,I will get this night as a kid. my parents when we were poor wanted to make sure we were eating. i have texture issues with food and i couldn’t eat leftover pasta without gagging and they wouldn’t let me leave the table and yell at me till i forced it down. until the one time i puked my ass off bc of it it comes from a place of care but the way you’re describing and what i’ve experienced it’s abusive. my dad (in his few little good moments) managed to find alternative methods to get me to eat. beans and rice was cheap and he managed to make it the most exciting sounding meal. same with ramen. My dad was like that, you couldn’t get up from the table until you finished your plate. And so I would often sleep at the table. And today I have an unhealthy relationship with food because of my upbringing.

With my kid and my grandkids, it was always a child size plate and eat until you’re satisfied. They never had to be forced to eat and they don’t have to worry about leaving food on their plate. Not sure who you hang around, but I don’t see parents telling, yellow, smacking their kids to make sure they finish their food. I think most parents realize that kids are getting fatter and fatter so finished your meal, or cleaning your plate is really outdated and they realize this. Bad parenting. We never force our daughter to finished everything. Sometime that means she is hungry a bit later and gets a snack, but so be it. That’s just abuse, this happened to my boyfriend until one time he threw up green beans all over the Nolan Arenado Signature American professional baseball third baseman St. Louis Scream T-Shirt Also,I will get this table because he was forced to eat them. He never had to finish his food if he didn’t want to again lol. My mom used to make me drink a glass of milk with dinner, I hated it because I would get an upset stomach, turns out I’m mildly lactose intolerant. When I got older like middle school I just told I hated the taste and she stopped making me drink it. I switched to almond milk and now I have her drinking it. Crazy what growing up puts in perspective for you.
