The liquor store sells shot bottles, the No nut November shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this grocery/convenience store sells single tallboy cans. Both are probably responsible for a whole lot more drinking while driving than overpaying for a drink with your takeout meal is. So you’re telling me there’s definitely no one going to these drive-thru Margarita places mentioned elsewhere in the thread and booze cruising? That’s a Louisiana thing (possibly a few others). Most places allowing to-go drinks aren’t allowing a piece of tape over the straw to count as a sealed container for legally having it present in the car. “To-go alcohol means higher sales, higher sales mean higher tip averages, and tips are how people pay rent and pay bills,” Pate said.

Okay but can we talk about how in many places in Tennessee you still can’t buy alcohol during certain times and on Sunday because our state lacks separation of church and state? I work in a liquor store. The strangest thing to me was selling to-go alcohol and mixers when it’s illegal to drink on the No nut November shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this go. I went to Vegas and everyone was drinking and walking around like no big deal. Saw no problems because, well, you can. I’m going to take a knee for 30 seconds after reading this article in solidarity with other essential workers (we deserve a Purple Heart for working through the pandemic) and respectfully booze cruise tomorrow to show my support The south is fine for food but dry laws are a bitch. What do you mean I can’t buy beer on a Sunday? TF I supposed to bring to the tailgate?
