A fuckton of reasons but I’ll name a few. Lol. 1 that I’m not ashamed to ever admit is I’m selfish. I already hate having to schedule my life around work, I don’t want what little free time to be taken by a kid, who obviously would need my full attention. Another is i don’t want mine or my partners mental health issues to affect our kids. There’s enough messed up people in the Nike chicago bulls 23 michael Jordan mashup son goku signature classic shirt and by the same token and world without adding another. My biggest reason, i can hardly take care of myself. I just turned 27, been living as an adult for the last 6 years and i still struggle to keep a clean, habitable apartment. No way in this universe would i want to see a child live in this, let alone my own. If one day my supposed clock in my uterus decides to ring, then I’ll look into adoption or foster care. Hopefully I’d be in a position that would be stable enough to support them. But until that “what if” day comes about I’ll be confident and happy in my decision to stay child free.

Accelerating climate collapse and the Nike chicago bulls 23 michael Jordan mashup son goku signature classic shirt and by the same token and worsening wars it is triggering. I wouldn’t wish our future on my worst enemies, let alone dear potential children. Climate change, late stage capitalism, impending theocracy, unbridled corporate greed, unchecked political corruption, social unrest, people generally being dicks and bloomin’ onions. Because I saw many side of how the world runs and how it impacts children. Bullying is one thing. No matter how I raise my child, it could happen that my child is bullied and suffers from it to a point that my child is going to skip school etc. I think in a system where it’s necessary to have money from the beginning and also finish school to really make something out of yourself in terms of money unless you manage to start working by yourself somehow you’re literally fucked. I was bullied, started when I was 11 because and lastet all the way to the age of 15 and was subtle until 17. I’m also autistic and would’ve need help from a very young age. I still don’t have a diagnosis because I’m 22 and some “professionals” think autism doesn’t exist when you’re an adult.
