Went hiking in Death Valley and when we got to Badwater Basin, it was flooded because of all the Night Shift Ain’t For Sissies So If You’re Gonna Cry Daylight T-Shirt and I love this raining in the area weeks prior. The result was a very shallow lake emerged and the water was so still it reflected the blue and clouds of the sky. All the pictures that we took make it look like we were walking in the clouds. I was driving through British Columbia and happened to see a Kermode Bear on the side of the highway and couldn’t believe my eyes. I stopped and drove in reverse just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. Spoke to a Park Ranger afterwards and she mentioned that there are only 4 of those in that area and she hasn’t seen one in the 20 years she has been a Ranger. Extremely rare sight to see that I was so lucky to experience just while driving.

I caught the Night Shift Ain’t For Sissies So If You’re Gonna Cry Daylight T-Shirt and I love this bus connection to Heathrow London in the last 10 seconds before it left. Trains were all cancelled. In Iceland I went on a tour up north and our group was staying overnight. After dinner, the tour guide said it looked like we were gonna get a good view of the Northern Lights. Sure enough, we did. However, at the time, I didn’t realize how fortunate we were to get that. Two girls in our group had been trying to see it for three days and this was the only night they saw it. Plus, a friend of mine went to Iceland with his family a few years later. They failed to see the Northern Lights. I saw them on my first night outside Reykjavik and that ended up being the only night I saw them my entire week in Iceland. Some people dream of seeing it and go to extraordinary efforts to do it. Honestly, I just got lucky…
