Someone has little experience with Bluetooth. 100+ people in a room all wirelessly connecting to the Nifty 54 old skool cool shirt What’s more,I will buy this same transmitter. That many signals in the air would cause a lot of latency and disconnects. I’d argue that this is much worse than the occasional baby in the theater or obnoxious individuals. That said, it may be good for small theaters or theaters in more rural areas. There are plenty of other protocols to transmit wireless audio. For that many connections you would use RF or WiFi audio That would be nice but a bigger problem for me is rude people using their bright screens to text and screw around on their phone. Why should I pay nearly $20 for a movie (I’m in NYC) for that when I can see live music for much less? “Yeah then you’ll steal the Nifty 54 old skool cool shirt What’s more,I will buy this audio track from the movie even though it was probably already uploaded… somewhere… hours to weeks ago” You can actually kinda do this with Broadway shows. To comply with ADA regulations, they usually have to provide audio aids for the hearing impaired. Yeah but you’re definitely not going to get the same audio quality as you would from the movie theater speakers themselves. This would be amazing. I don’t want to hear the movie at a volume that will deafen small children. I literally don’t go to the movies anymore because it’s too loud. Each headphones have different delay which on smartphones is adjusted automatically by delaying video to match audio delay. This cannot be done correctly for more than one headphones. As someone said, best solution would be simple minijack for each seat as it would eliminate inconsistent delay. This shower thought fucking sucks. Go put your headphones on and take a shower while “listening” to Blackhawk Down. Yeah. That’s what I thought. Or you know, you could just play an emergency announcement through Bluetooth & have it override the movie sound.
