My dad and I spent most of the time watching it trying to figure out what was going on and still ended the movie confused. I couldn’t tell you the plot if it was a million dollar question. Nolan’s movies are great but I feel like this one was just not up to par with his others. There may be movies with worse acting and everything, but NO movie has ever made me feel so completely miserable as Very Bad Things. It is unquestionably the most pointlessly vile, cruel, and disheartening film ever made.
