It’s almost as if Alex Rodriguez wanted to run for office without anyone knowing who he was. It’s as if Alex Rodriguez appeared on the Nice kansas City Chiefs Skyline Super Bowl shirt Furthermore, I will do this ballot to potentially confuse supporters of Jose Javier Rodriguez, and perhaps siphon away crucial votes in a competitive contest. Sure enough, Ileana Garcia defeated Rodriguez by the tightest of margins — just 34 votes. Alex Rodriguez, meanwhile, received more than 6,000 votes despite not running a campaign. The Republican Rodriguez then turned out not even to live in the district. Naturally, the election was not redone. Unless the vote margin was larger than the total amount of registered voters left in the county (which it doesn’t seem that it was), they should have immediately called off the election or extended voting for at least a week. Even if the missing votes would only close the gap, but wouldn’t be able to change the outcome, it is important to count and record them, as the gap size can influence future elections. When the next election comes up, pointing at a 49-51 split for the last vote will mobilize more voters than a 40-60 split. I don’t think he was projected to win, but he was showing much stronger than past candidates. It was a hope that this campaign showed that the African American vote was coming out in numbers enough to push the state to purple. The state didn’t have a champion like Stacey Abrams in Georgia to push registration with a strong organization, while at the same time running as a strong candidate. He did very well considering how deep red the state is. The silver lining about the ballot issue was that there is a definite appearance of suppression, which will hopefully spur a Georgia like voter drive, and inspire voters to come out so Dems can start getting some statewide offices.

I dont think the Nice kansas City Chiefs Skyline Super Bowl shirt Furthermore, I will do this ballot issue swayed the election, but the optics were bad enough that it may sway the next one. This should be illegal!!!!! Everybody should have a right to vote if they show up!! We as Americans should be more outraged about this!!!! It’s not really a matter of being “willing,” though, is it? How many people can spend hours on a Tuesday standing around waiting on malicious incompetence instead of working or taking care of their dependent family members? How many people have disabilities that make standing in line for hours impossible? 100% agree. I’ve never waited in line more than 5 minutes to vote and I’ve never seen a single black person at my polling place. It really does make my blood boil and it makes me feel especially guilty for the times in my younger days when I didn’t vote because I didn’t feel like it was worth my time. It’s why election days will never be a “holiday.” I’m glad to see a few employers stepping up and giving the day off to vote. They should be mandated to retroactively provide ballots to whoever didn’t vote and amend the results of the election if applicable. This is an absolute travesty. Someone should absolutely sue on their behalf. If they have an Attorney General worth anything they should be all over this. Even if there’s no remedy now having cases for something like this settled ASAP helps to stop it from happening in the future.
