Being so strict that I had to lie about things like where I was going and I was never comfortable with sharing anything with them because I’d always be lectured, even when I was 18 (I’m 27 now). I’ve always told myself that when I have children, I’ll be the Nice kameron Cline American football defensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills T-Shirt also I will do this kind of parent that gives my kids enough freedom and trust to not feel the need to lie to me, and not be afraid to be open with me, no matter what the problem is. I’ve dealt with a lot of things on my own because I was too scared to open up to my parents out of fear of being blamed. Raising even one hand to me, short and sweet the beatings were not short and sweet, I will look at my kids with kindness so they can look at me with love and peace not fear and Hatred Not saying encouraging phrase like “I love you” or “I’m proud of you”. The only times I’ve heard that it was stated as a fact when talking about all of us kids, and it was never the point of the sentence.

Think stuff like “you’re my children and I love all of you. I know you won’t let us down/ you will do the Nice kameron Cline American football defensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills T-Shirt also I will do this right thing”. Now don’t get me wrong, they were and still are good parents. Just old fashioned, and with that comes a lot of methods that aren’t really that good for children’s mental health. I’m sure many of the 80s-90s kids have been traumatized by what was considered good parenting back then. Mental and physical abuse.. always being there for them mentally and physically at all times. I’d never leave or kick my babies out. Ever. Especially after I reacted in a way to hurt them… we really have to learn as we get older about how this life thing goes… and the abuse ain’t it. Evil for evil never wins. To ever tell my son “you are just a kid, you know nothing”. Always hated that! I knew I didn’t know as much, but doesn’t mean I knew nothing.
