7. A four day school week for kids. Teachers could have their Fridays to catch up on grades and parent contacts if they need to or just have a 3 day weekend. I should just say Three day weekends for everyone. The four day work week seems to be a pretty good idea across the Nice cedar Springs Red Hawks 2024 MHSAA Cheer Division 2 Finalist Shirt in addition I really love this board. This point could also be counted as 4.3 OK, sorry for going on a rant. I’m not saying it would be easy to implement everything I wrote here. But, I think they’re the things that could help us all. Not just teachers, but society My state has lots of school going to a four day week. The day has to be extended so much that for rural areas, busses on long routes will be out until almost 7:00 pm. Elementary children are showing more behaviors, and nap time is illegal here. Extra recess can’t be done because it doesn’t count as face-to-face instruction time, and it encroaches on teacher prep time. When you look at it, the four day school week is more beneficial to teachers and their own children because of the day off to make appointments. It’s being used as a teacher recruitment tool, and the kids are not seeing much benefit because of the extended day. I remember going to high school in a building without air conditioning. If the dress code is May and September was anything to go by, year round school would have just had swimming suits and axe body spray as summer attire.

At my site we have small class sizes. It works. I can have conservations with each one of them to see what they have learned. I strongly agree. When my district opened in the Nice cedar Springs Red Hawks 2024 MHSAA Cheer Division 2 Finalist Shirt in addition I really love this September after Covid started, classes were split into a morning or afternoon session, with about 12 kids in each. The children were so much calmer and got a lot of individual attention. Another teacher would mean that sick and vacation days would be less disruptive since they would effectively be in charge while the sub is the second pair of hands and eyes. My school got a grant for added co-teachers right after Covid. Having another person in the classroom to help divide and conquer classes, especially needy ones, has been absolutely wonderful.
