One of my old buddies disappeared for a year because his GF didnt like us. Then they’re all happy and ready to be friends with everyone again out of nowhere. Wtf. I hope you were able to respond “oh damn that’s hella cringy and abusive I hope you This is sad, controlling, and abusive behavior. Determining who your partner can be friends with is abuse. Unless they’ve done something to hurt you personally, there’s no acceptable reason to ask or expect your partner to drop their friends, especially if theyve been around longer than you Lol I’d be glad they cut me off if it were me. Their ‘my gf and I are taking our relationship to the Nice blink-182 San Diego June 19 2023 Show Shirt Additionally,I will love this next level’ is hilarious. This is a relationship doomed to fail. A wealthy male friend did this to me after we had been friends for over 10 years. We did originally have a couple of dates in the Nice blink-182 San Diego June 19 2023 Show Shirt Additionally,I will love this beginning but I suggested we just be friends and he was cool with that. Fast forward to his next gf who sees the gold mine. She already has 2 kids who he raises and even paid for one to live, job free, in London for a year. After not hearing from him for a while, he emails me to say his wife had received a phone call from a mystery woman and she wanted him to stop all of his female friendships. I believe wife made that up because she had kicked him out of the bedroom and was afraid someone else would take him. It realllllly pissed me off how easily he would have ended the friendship. Fast forward a year on and his business goes downhill. He sells it, wife decides to leave him and get settlement and she moves to the UK. Suddenly, she doesn’t care if he has female friends. She spends all of her settlement then suddenly finds a new boyfriend. You will hear from that friend again when the relationship breaks down, which it will. It’s up to you if you can be bothered being friends with someone like that again.
