We continually become identified with these thoughts and we become unaware that you are thinking – the NHL Florida Panthers Skull Dia De Los Muertos Hockey Logo Shirt In addition,I will do this watcher – the one that is aware has vanished. At some point one realizes they are supposed to be meditating and the watcher reappears and awareness is present. At every moment in life..one can simply begin again ( — sam harris) The continued practice of getting lost and then finding the watcher again is the core of meditation. The more ones practices, the more the watcher is present and one can start to glimpse what meditation really is. True. One can mentally say “breathing in” “breathing out” in synch with the breath, but do it mechanically, on autopilot while thinking about whatever else, instead of actually paying attention and experiencing every breath. The brain can multitask, but not very well, and people keep just enough attention on the present moment not to bump into anything (usually), while actually being somewhere else in their mind (thinking about the past, thinking about the future, fantasizing, or philosophizing).

I like this, thank you. I’ve been starting to get into meditation, but the NHL Florida Panthers Skull Dia De Los Muertos Hockey Logo Shirt In addition,I will do this overthinking is strong in this one. Finding the watcher is exactly how I feel when I have lost awareness again, and again, and again. Thoughts come and go, no stopping that. Many beginners try way to hard to have zero thoughts, which is really difficult. I think being in the present means not forcing and control anything, just be aware, let the thoughts be what they are. Basically don’t try, just be. Yeah.. language is pretty import at times and “focus” can certainly be misleading and even detail people. I can certainly see that. I find that the continued aware / unaware – begin again cycle is like doing reps with weights. Over time the mind builds cognitive tools and come into play in every day life. Good insight but I may have a different working mind but I don’t think more by trying to focus harder to be honest.
