It was a great steady income while it lasted. Yeah, they’re all assholes now. I bet they don’t even report all of their wages and tips like you for sure did. None of those things have ever happened to me. You have to remember: nobody is going to post “everything went great and absolutely nothing of interest happened on this delivery,” which is 99% of deliveries. You were making $30/hr profit but how much wear and tear to your car? That’s what always held me back from dashing. I have heard them since the beginning. I am so glad we have grubhub here. I have been frightened away from door dash for quite a while now.

Have you considered it’s because you’re in an echo chamber that is constantly repeating (or making up) these outrageous stories Can’t even count how many times I’ve had drivers show up high as a kite and certainly smell like it too. Always make sure to report them in the app for DUI! Sadly, that’s the best you can do, unless you’re working for the restaurant, in which case you can thankfully ban them from your store. To be fair, no one is getting good, uneventful deliveries then coming to the sub to let everyone know the food was delivered without an issue. People are only going to post the things that annoy them, occasionally really amazing things like free food or a huge tip but you’re on a sub that is pretty much just for sharing negativity.
